It would be useful to have an SPI that would allow to register and use different types of document sources, in the same way that data sources, document types, actions and document generators can be registered in the 1.2 version of inforama.

The possible implementation of that document source (document provider) interface could be: local file system, ftp server, alfresco and jackrabbit. In a project it would be possible to use different sources at the same time, for instance: all xsl-fo letters documents come from local file systems while all acroforms documents come from an alfresco server.

The syntax for referring to documents would be: <documentSource>.<documentType>.<documentName>, e.g. "myAlfresco.xlFoLetter.myLetter".
